Graduate Trading Program
During our three-month training program, we will equip you with the knowledge to start your career on our trading desks. From financial products to pricing strategies and proprietary trading systems, you will gain a deep understanding of our trading processes and the financial ecosystem.
You will also get hands-on experience through trading simulations as well as participate in quantitative classes, led by our senior Traders and Quantitative Researchers.
Graduate Quantitative Research
This two-month program will ensure you gain an understanding of our core business, strategies and the financial products we trade.
You will attend quantitative and trading classes led by our Quants and Traders, to learn the mathematics required to price financial products. This program provides you with the opportunity to work on developing trading solutions and mathematical problems with the goal of generating alpha and creating automated strategies.
Graduate Trading Operations Engineering Program
This three-month program consists of a two-month training followed by a month dedicated to your graduation project. To ensure you are supported, you and your mentor will meet to discuss your progress and development on a regular basis.
As part of the program, you will be introduced to DevOps concepts and will be taught how to work with our technology as well as how to ensure the performance and stability of our trading systems. You will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed along with a deep understanding of our trading infrastructure.
Graduate Software Development Program
As a part of our one-year Graduate Software Development program you will explore the various facets of our technology landscape and interact with different development teams focused on specific proprietary products.
To gain helpful insights you will participate in sprints and stand-up meetings, work alongside our talented C++ or Java Development teams and take part in projects aimed at enhancing our proprietary trading platform.
Math Test
This is a key part of our Graduate Trader recruitment process. Candidates have 10 minutes to solve 75 questions using mental arithmetic.

Only penultimate and final year students are eligible to apply for the Graduate Trader program at Flow Traders. However, we encourage all students to come meet us at any of our upcoming events. All events can be found on our Career Events page.
We open applications for the Graduate Software Development program a year before the start date. Please be aware that we do not have a deadline for submitting applications, when all openings have been filled the position will be closed automatically.
The Graduate Trader position is open all year round and we recruit students on a rolling basis. There are four intakes for this program per year.
